YES + Advanced Shimla PART2

The course was really cool. Much more than I had expected, and my expectations were really high!

Dinesh bhaiya is one amazing teacher. The whole atmosphere was so different in his company. Asmita has posted a few pictures on her facebook profile.

Everything about the course, beginging from the Padma Saadhna we learnt, the Locks (bandhas), and the various meditations we did were challenging and invigorating . Then, the sessions used to be accompanied by our daily rounds of seva where in we were divided in groups and assigned various duties, such as kitchen, cleaning etc. We cleaned plates and served food. Cleaned the campus and mopped the floors. All, in complete silence. Though i must admit, I did some basic communication through eyes with my room mates regarding whos going to use the toilet first, or once in a while a word came out spontaneously.

There was so much peace right from the second day. We used to come out in the lap of nature after the sessions to be greated with the himalayan foothills or the beautiful valleys and the mesmerising stars at night. I felt like being completely soaked in the energy and the beauty of nature.

After 2 days, the third day, after I had over come my coughing and cold (mostly), it was pure bliss and a few tears rolled down my eyes while contemplating and thinking of the divine and love which is showered on us.

The whole day from 6 in the morning to 11 at night was spent in that company. In the evening we had satsang sessions which was pure celebration. Well, silence and Celebration, the rarest of combinations. We would sing, sway and dance all the time, clapping and celebrating. I made some really close friends and shared our life experiences and stories during one of the activities. The attention was so much on the breath most of the times that I felt intoxicated by it, by the pure bliss, that we ourselves are, forgetting the whole world around. And, as guruji said during the knowledge sessions, you are Love!

Dinesh bhaya is everything one could ask in a teacher. His impeccable command over the english and hindi language and the way he assisted during the meditation sessions. Check out his blog on http://bawandinesh.name/#.
We broke the silence on the last day, finally and everyone screamed with 'jai gurudev!'.
